Chuck Lovitt
President / Creator of the Athletic Edge College Recruiting System

It was during his twenty-four year career in law enforcement Chuck Lovitt was first exposed coaching and training during various assignments to prepare young police officers and sergeants. In 1999 Chuck was selected to attend an elite advanced adult-based learning course and was certified as an instructor in that capacity. Since that time, Chuck has instructed, presented to and facilitated a large number of trainings and coaching sessions on a variety of different topics to countless civilians and law enforcement personnel all over the country.
 
After his career in law enforcement, Chuck joined Guardian Quest, a leading provider of groundbreaking, transformational leadership, organizational development and diversity education with expertise in coaching, consulting and experiential learning. During his assignment as a trainer and facilitator with Guardian Quest, Chuck provided coaching, consultation and facilitated training for government agencies, the U.S. Military, large corporations and Fortune 500 companies all over the United States. In 2012, Chuck left Guardian Quest to start his own company.
Chuck has been involved in coaching youth sports since 2000. In 2009, Chuck was asked to become the recruiting coordinator for an elite youth sports tournament team. During his volunteer assignment with the team, Chuck assembled a revolutionary recruiting strategy, which resulted in enormous success in helping student athletes achieve their dream of playing in college, by combining what he had been coaching adults for years, and the strategies he learned and used as a recruiting coordinator.  

In 2012 Chuck created Play Up Athletics, and developed the Athletic Edge College Preparation and Recruitment Program, to meet the needs of the many athletes, everywhere, who have aspirations to play and study at the next level. Chuck has been credited with assisting hundreds student athletes from across the country, in a variety of sports, reach their goal of collegiate athlete as well as negotiating the challenges and adversities associated with attending college.

Over the course of his adult life, Chuck Lovitt has conducted training for, consulted with and spoken to, personnel of government agencies, the military, law enforcement agencies and multi-million dollar corporations.  He now brings this experience, along with years of you coaching and recruiting experience, to student athletes to prepare them for college, collegiate athletics and whatever life brings them after college.

Allie Lovitt
Athletic Edge Certified Recruiting Coach

Allie Lovitt started playing softball at nine years old and began her club softball career at age ten. She was apart of three different club teams during her softball career. She lettered all four years in softball at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School and helped her team to a regional championship and a state tournament appearance her junior year, when she played shortstop. During her high school career, she received honorable mention all-league honors.
 
Allie went on to play four years of collegiate softball at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington where she helped her team to two different Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) championships and two appearances in the NCAA Division II national tournament. Allie was a three-year academic all-conference selection and a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Scholar-Athlete. 
 
After graduating cum laude from St. Martin’s, Allie was accepted into the Ph.D. program for Experimental Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She currently works under Dr. Murray Millar in the Social Interaction Lab. Her scholarly research investigates positive stereotypes and their effect on intergroup relations. She is also a part-time instructor for the UNLV psychology department where she teaches Psychology 101 and Social Psychology.
 
Allie went through the Athletic Edge Program herself and credits her successful recruiting experience to Play Up Athletics. Now she aims to assist other young athletes in achieve their dreams of playing their sport at a college they love.
